The Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace is located in Rustenburg in the North West Province. It was opened in 1999 and completely funded by the Royal Bafokeng community.Only minor renovations has been done to bring the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in line with FIFA™ World Cup 2010 requirements. This stadium is ear-marked for the first and second round matches for the FIFA™ World Cup in 2010. The stadium has a capacity of just over 40,000. New electronic scoreboards has been installed and floodlights and public address system has been upgraded  to welcome the football supportesrs of the world.
