It was not at all a one sided match in which Brazil the team of super stars beat the host nation South Africa  to get into the Confederations cup final.
Daniel Alves scored direct from a free kick two minutes left to give a 1-0 win over the South Africa.Brazil will face United States in Sunday's final while South Africa meet Spain in the third-place playoff.
South Africa had a good chance on the first half when Aaron Mokoena headed over the crossbar. The Brazilians looked short of ideas and was struggling to find an opening.
"It was one of the few opportunities we were going to have. The foul was right in front of the goal area, so it was perfect for us." Brazil coach Dunga said.

"We wanted to come here and win but unfortunately we did not go all the way," South African central defender Matthew Booth said. "We were not very happy with the free kick and I think television replays will show it was unfair."
